DIY Wednesday!
Welcome to our first DIY Wednesday!
If you’re looking for interactive projects to keep your kids busy this summer, look no further! We’ve got some easy arts and crafts that require minimal materials and will be a blast for kids of all ages (including kids at heart)! Stay tuned for more ideas every DIY Wednesday.
Kinetic Sand
Kinetic sand is all the rage these days, but who has time to go to the store? Here’s a recipe for kinetic sand that only calls for baking powder, baking soda, and dish soap!

Cereal Box Aquarium
Afraid to buy your kid an actual goldfish? No need – make a fake aquarium! This activity is fun for kids and parents alike (I like to add sparkles). Pick up a few craft supplies at the dollar store, grab an old cereal box, and you’re good to go! You can even use some of the kinetic sand from the project above. 🙂

Crystal Charms and Jewelry
Grow your own crystals using salt and make necklaces, earrings, and pretty trinkets. Simple and cheap, this one is fun for gifts too.
